Powers (no more than 150 words): no special powers to speak of. for all intents and purposes, she is a regular 17 year old girl.
Personality
What is your character most afraid of? How are they defined by this fear? (100-300 words) suletta's life is built around helping others. growing up as a lonely child on mercury, she tirelessly worked as an emergency rescuer, never hesitating to save the lives of anyone regardless of how harshly they treated a non-native mercurian like herself. the inciting incident of witch from mercury's main plot all sparks from suletta's compulsion to help miorine after witnessing the unfair treatment the latter goes through as the bargaining chip in the high stakes duels for her hand in marriage.
it stands to reason then that her greatest fear is intertwined with need to help: to no longer being seen as a useful tool.
a misunderstanding between miorine and suletta leads miorine to nonchanlantly comment that her help is no longer required and that she should live her own life. this crushes suletta so deeply that she withdraws from both miorine and her friends, even struggling to find the words when later explaining the situation to her mother. to suletta, not being useful is equivalent to no longer being needed in someone's life.
and in being abandoned, she fears becoming that sad, lonely little girl on mercury once again.
What is your character's greatest desire? How are they defined by this desire? (100-300 words)her stated goal is to be just like her mom: to be strong, dependable, honorable, respected. someone that others can rely on. suletta hopes to eventually found a school on mercury in order to bring young people to the planet and revitalize its culture and economy.
these reasons motivate her even though others at school bully her for being a country bumpkin and her friends express their worries that her self-imposed burden of saving an entire planet is too heavy. however, it's one she is perfectly fine with shouldering. even if her dreams comes at detriment to herself, she wants to be useful, to be helpful. suletta is selfless to the point of being selfish.
How will not having memories change your character? What core personality traits, if any, will change? How? (200-300 words)
-Confidence: by the end of season 1, suletta is more confident than ever. she no longer shrinks in on herself to look smaller and her nervous habits of stuttering and fidgeting are less pronounced. with her memories of her duel victories and the support of her friends, family, and miorine gone, she'll be back at square one. suletta will be overwhelmed by strong emotions since she's unused to them and if startled by something or someone, may try hiding behind the nearest thing. imagine a red panda hiding behind a tree that doesn't provide nearly enough cover. it's just like that.
-Motivation: her mother taught her the phrase "if you run, gain one; move forward, gain two" as a sort of "calming spell" to calm her down when overwhelmed and provide her with a way to face her fears. it's worked both for good--miorine uses the saying to motivate her when she's especially down on herself for failing to meet her own high expectations--and for ill when her mother convinces her that the only way to protect miorine and others is to fight and kill other humans despite suletta's reservations on causing harm to others.
now that she no longer remembers her mother's strong presence, she will find herself adrift. although she will retain the desire to help wherever she can, how exactly she should move forward will be a constant source of conflict. this will be suletta at her most impressionable.

there is a silver-haired classmate she is very close with. their relationship is one of obligation, but suletta doesn't mind at all. she wants to help free them from their captivity. they made a pinky promise to work together until they've achieved that goal.

the phrase "if you run away, gain one. move forward, gain two." and the philosophy behind it: if you run away from a difficult situation, you gain security (one). if you move forward to meet the difficult situation head on, you gain confidence/experience for the future and trust (two).
